New software lets you bring back Max Headroom

Max Headroom to make a come back ... sort of

NEWS: 4 May 2007 7:50 GMT by Stuart Miles

A new software package has been launched that allows you to create virtual animated actors from digital photos.

Called CrazyTalk you'll be able to create a virtual cast of live talking characters ready to deliver an animated vocal performance for your video, web, mobile or messaging projects, just like Max Headroom from the 80s.

According to the software's developers you'll need just a single photograph, recorded or imported audio, combined with transitional effects, animated illustrations and expressive emoticons, and CrazyTalk's powerful facial morphing animation technology will do the rest.

CrazyTalk is now available to buy at £29.99 inc Vat from Amazon.
