Sigma launch two new lenses for Nikon users

Sigma has announced the launch of two new lens for Nikon uers; the 18-50mm F3.5-5.6 DC HSM for Nikon and 55-200mm F4-5.6 DC HSM for Nikon.
The inclusion of HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) into the 18-50mm F3.5-5.6 DC and 55-200mm F4-5.6 DC, originally released to the market in November 2003, now allows quiet and high-speed auto focusing with all Nikon DSLR cameras.
The 18-50mm F3.5-5.6 DC HSM for Nikon zoom lens is compact with a maximum diameter of 69.6mm, overall length of 60mm and weighing only 250 grams. It has a variable angle of view of 76.5-31.7 degrees. The 18-50mm F3.5-5.6 DC HSM lens has a minimum focusing distance of 25cm at all focal lengths and is capable of close up photography with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.5.

The 55-200mm F4-5.6 DC HSM for Nikon lens has been exclusively designed for use with digital SLR cameras. The image circle is designed to match that of APS-C size image sensors. The lens is compact and lightweight with an overall length of 84.6mm and weight of only 310 grams. It has a filter size of 55mm and maximum diameter of 71mm. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 110cm and maximum magnification of 1:4.5.
It will cost £159.99.
