Traxdata announces three new memory cards to its range

Including a whopping 16GB one

NEWS: 9 May 2008 15:19 GMT by Verity Burns

Traxdata has announced three new additions to its range of flash and optical media storage products.

The new 16GB secure digital high capacity (SDHC) card allows users to store approximately 5000 4-megapixel images or around 6 hours and 40 minutes of MPEG2 video on one card.

Rated Class 6 for data transfer speed, it is the highest speed class currently available, and means data can be written at a minimum speed of 6MB per second, perfect for high-definition video and images.

Traxdata has also added both 4GB and 8GB versions of the miniSDHC memory card alongside a 4GB microSDHC card, one of the smallest memory cards in the world, to its offerings.

Perfect for people that use their phones to take photos or record video, both formats are also Class 6 rated memory cards and enable the user to store plenty of high quality images and movies on their phone, without affecting battery life.

The best thing with the two smaller formats is that they come with adaptors so you can use them in regular cameras too. Bargain.

Prices released currently are as follows:
SDHC 16GB - £45
miniSDHC 8GB - £24-25
miniSDHC 4GB - £12-14
microSDHC 4GB - £14.50-16

We'll keep you updated with any changes.
