TrekPod integrates tripod with walking staff

Now available in UK for photography-keen hikers

NEWS: 25 June 2008 20:32 GMT by Verity Burns

If you're a keen walker as well as a photographer, then Trek Technologies LLC have come up with a product that should save you lugging too much equipment round on your walks.

The TrekPod is a lightweight, height-adjustable walking/hiking staff that features a fully integrated tripod and a quick-release, mount-demount system called MagMount.

The product design incorporates the benefits of multiple functions and is able to be used on rough terrain and is quickly assembled. It certainly seems like a good mixture.

The TrekPod is now available in the UK and prices range from £5.99 for accessories up to £114.95 for the TrekPod Go with MagMount AR/I.
